Nightwood & Coulees both did their thing at the last launch, so it's like that except the show is a benefit for queer and sex-positive sex-ed (i.e. The Sense Project) and there is more emphasis on dressing like teen, as per this Nightlife article by the wonderful Marilis.

Phonopolis is a record shop you should visit in the same area of town and carries many a fine album that you can't find in one of the big box music stores. For example, they have the latest PARLOVR record, which will both break your heart and mend it in the space of a few songs.

Get It Ripe by Jae Steele is a wicked and delicious sounding vegetarian cookbook by the former (?) Ripe zine-maker, and can be found in NDG at the Coop la Maison Verte.

Launch Party Antics #2: Meet NIGHTWOOD

Yessss!! So this is the SECOND in a series of band and launch collaborator introductions here on the blog. All three bands that are playing at the launch are interviewed in the upcoming issue by one Mr. Nick Cabelli, Lickety Lad- so watch out for that too! Please get to know these bands so that you may responsibly take part in some consensual party-ness on Nov. 21st.
