* VIVIANE NAMASTE, who will present: "Historical Reflections on Queer Punk Zines".
Viviane is the acting principal of the Simone de Beauvoir Institute and is so over "queer" but is going to talk about it anyway.
* CHRISTOPHER WILDE, who will talk about the past, present, and future of queer zines, with an emphasis on self-publishing, distribution, networking and activism within our community
Christopher is the co-founder of The Queer Zine Archive Project (qzap.org) zine editor of Abrupt Lane Edge and Wicked Wipeout, writer of the monthly QZines column for Queer Life Newspaper, a DJ, and community building activist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
* LEILA POURTAVAF, who discuss the history of projet MOBILIVRE-BOOKMOBILE project, a traveling exhibit of artist books, zines and independent publications, as well as a newer, gayer initiative by members of the collective.
Leila is a Montreal based writer, activist and community organizer. She is a founding member of the projet MOBILIVRE-BOOKMOBILE project, an annual traveling exhibition of artist books, zines and independent publications.
