At Your Cervix!

Check out this neat-o documentary from the United States about empowering and sensitive pelvic exams: At Your Cervix. It's all about the teaching collectives in North America that consist of groups of women working with medical students to teach them the skills to give positive and empowering pelvic exams. This ensures that people with vaginas feel comfortable returning year after year for this routine exam, thus leading to better health through self-awareness and preventative medicine. There are similar teaching collectives working in Montreal universities, including the Montreal Women's Wellness Collective at McGill University, who were interviewed On CKUT's Audio Smut last summer. We're gonna see if we can get a copy of the film so we can organize a screening.
