New zine on anxiety looking for submissions!

From the Ste-Emilie Skill Share
Were putting together a zine about anxiety, accompanying depression, and dealing. We want to make a zine on anxiety that is:

Personal: We can share stories about our experiences with anxiety with the goal of softening blows and fostering support in our community.

Political: Bringing in analyses including but not limited to race, class, gender, ability that are often hard to find in resources on anxiety and depression.

Practical: Methods of how we ground ourselves and/or deal, talking about signs of anxiety attacks and how to be allies to friends with anxiety. Were looking for submissions on/about:

- Comics/stories about anxiety/depression especially personal experiences of youth, poc, migrants, indigenous peoples, queers, trans.
- Art/drawings
- Signs, symptoms and general information about anxiety and depression
-Substance use ( perscription and non) and anxiety
- Methods of dealing, including harm reduction
- The politics of mental health, the standardization of normalcy and sanity, and so on.

As well as:
-General collaboration
-Help with layout and editing
-Recommended articles, books, websites, zines on anxiety and depression
-Personal Reviews of Mental Heath services in Montreal (i.e. counselors and therapists)

Recorded music is static. It is recorded and there it is, as it is. And how it always will be.

It is completely insulated. And though we can reach at it, we will never penetrate into that terrifyingly perfect world of the song.

This is why some people are vinyl junkies: they’re addicted to the random pops. This way each time is different. This way each time is the only time.

And this is why the oddcast is so busy: it’s an attempt to lift music from the precious and perfect and wholly unattainable, and back into the familiar world of beautiful imperfect uniqueness. Mud on the ponies. Work in those sneakers.

We may all hear these sounds again, but never in the same way. And then again, because the oddcast too is a recording, it will always be the same. With electric music, there is no "live." And that perhaps is the point most easy to recognize and most difficult to articulate.

So investigate these tunes like real-world sensations: appearing suddenly, surprisingly, unexplained: unexplainable: sometimes obvious and sometimes murky but always thick and heavy with the lusty deep breathing of a thing alive. If only for a moment.

Lickety Split Kicks HIV in the Balls!

About a week ago, your trusty curators Amber and Kathleen joined the Montreal Anarchist Soccer crew to star in an educational video for Aids Community Care Montreal. In the spirit of plugging the current sex ed hole, ACCM is using the power of digital media to disseminate (ha!) information on HIV/AIDs in high schools across Montreal.

Despite the searing heat, twenty people showed up to play and "act". We formed two teams: the righteous white blood cells (those of us in white bandannas) and the evil yet ultimately victorious HIV virus-ers (in plaid bandannas, 'cuz plaid = bad). It was awesome, and I can tell you Amber's one fierce leukocyte!

All this to say two things:

1) The Lickety Ladies will soon be household names... or at least cafeteria names. I know what you're thinking: Finally, a way for Lickety Split to advertise to the under 18 crowd! (That was a joke, CSIS. Don't put us on your watch list.)

2) ACCM is awesome (as is soccer), and HIV/AIDS is a subject you can never know too much about. Check out what this fine organization is up to at http://www.accmontreal.org/

Robinson Devor's ZOO: An informal review

The cover of the Montreal Mirror was invigorating for LS's Kathleen, after having seen ZOO at the Fantasia festival.
The following is the lightly edited transcription of an instant message conversation between Kathleen and Amber about the film ZOO which they had recently watched at the Fantasia Festival in Montreal.
Amber: Kathleen?
Kathleen: Hi
Amber: So. Zoo, eh?
Kathleen: I feel a bit let down by zoo. you?
As a representative of the horse community, i mean.
kidding!
Amber: Feelings...yes. Well, I feel a bit muddled.
There were a lot of pretty sky + tree shots.
Kathleen: There were some Hallmark-esque shots of lilacs and leaping dolphins...
Amber: There were also references to a small mining town and this zoophilia community meeting at a farm after having met via the (evil?) internet.
Kathleen: Hey, we're using the evil internet! Will we end up in Washington State...?
Amber: ...what?
Oh!
Like in THE FILM!
I thought you meant The President or somethin'
I love my cats, but I don't LOVE my cats, you know.
Kathleen: One thing I found interesting was that when the zoos, as they call themselves, were talking about their love of animals, I wondered whether I might share some of their characteristics.
Amber: Interesting. Like what?

Kathleen: There's a part of me that can identify with a complete withdrawal from human contact (which, actually, none of them were even discussing), and just living with non-human companions and falling in love.
I don't know about penetrative sex, though. But I think I can see my way around a lot of sexual/sensual interactions with non-humans.
Amber: They did talk about how they appreciated the simplicity of an animal existence being free of cultural, verbal interactions.
I think I regard my cats as my furry babies. Which is weird too, I 'spose.
Kathleen: I think I have maternal feelings towards my cats too, which is sort of tricky.
Amber: Consent: big topic!
Kathleen: Indeed. It's obviously a slippery slope, and since I just “came out” on Google IM…
Some of the questions around "simplicity" bothered me, but they bother me in the same way that many questions around consent and non-humans do, not just sexually-based issues.
Actually, one thing that I found an effective counter-point to the media's portrayal of these folks as monstrous was when they showed the vets drugging that poor stallion and castrating him. Talk about issues of sexual consent!!
Amber: Right on. That was fucked up. They picked up the stallion in question and...does this count as a spoiler?
Kathleen: If you mean did it spoil my appetite, then yes.

Amber: All I gotta say is "pony". Highlight of the film.
Kathleen: I can imagine being in love with a cat (or an otter, etc...), but not feeling sexual desire towards that individual.
Amber: Yer referring to the animal as an individual, as I suppose they may be in the way that it is a singular being. But usually we refer to humans that way.
Kathleen: Yes, I tend to refer to animals as people.
…Although I have had what could be understood as a sexual experience one of the only times I interacted with a horse... I think a lot of girls have experienced this, am I right? Which also brings up issues of back in the day, forcing women to ride side-saddle, issues of sexual restrictions…
Amber: I think there is a difference between riding a horse, or a swing or a washing machine and getting off on it and then associating that being/object/person with sexuality. But I'm not sure it's a romantic or consensual one.
Kathleen: No, it's interesting, for me it was as if the horse was a vibrator. There was no deep connection. But for some girls, I think the riding and other activities form a part of a super emotionally charged relationship.

Amber: I think that people definitely have deep connections to animals (myself included). On the subject of girls/women, there weren't too many in the film- none at all who were "zoo".
Kathleen: Another thing zoo ignored or glossed over was other forms of bestial intercourse, like when someone sticks their dick in an animal. I tend to have a much more negative reaction to this, even though with humans I would never argue that rape is limited to forcing a penis inside something.
Amber: Good point. The whole film estheticized the zoophilia and veered as much as possible away from anything "bestial" though you do see some interspecies lovin' in a very peripheral way.
I think that the filmmakers didn't move beyond their original intention of presenting a group's story in a non-sensationalized way. I feel the film lost momentum and had some awkward moments trying to reconcile that.
Kathleen: Yes, I feel like the director narrowed his focus to the extreme and also used a lyrical rather than a straightforward aesthetic and narration style, which is a controversial choice to make when you're diving into hitherto unexplored and taboo territory.
In terms of multiplicity, there were also some interesting choices made in terms of casting and depictions of real people and events. Some people were played by actors but you could hear their real voices, some played themselves, and some were entirely fictional. A strange layering and distancing from the original events was the result, in my opinion.
Amber: It's funny that some reviews have compared the approach of the filmmakers to that of Errol Morris who is so good a spinning a tight yarn as well as using different editing strategies to reveal the different dimensions and truths of a story. This lacked dimension.
I think the film was beautiful to look at but could have used a more rigorous structure, even though there were not many opportunities for "talking head" interviews, as many of the zoos in question didn't want to be filmed.
Kathleen: The one talking head interview that was present only added to the confusion!
Amber: Holy fuck yeah.
I was like "dead little boy", white background, man on a stool...what?!
Kathleen: I think it was supposed to add gravitas, reminding us of the price one zoo paid... for his passion!
All style and very little substance. The "pony" moment, although hilarious, added nothing.
Amber: It added to my personal glee.

What did Rick say again?
Kathleen: Rick said it was a hilarious slapstick comedy, that the dolphins made him laugh, and about the guy on the stool... I don't remember.
Oh gawd and the music! I would argue that the music really worked against the filmmaker's desire to make a non-judgmental and "objective" piece. The music was all and foreboding and relentless and sinister.
Amber: I think it was supposed to be "Glass-ian".
The music.
Kathleen: Well i kept getting scissorhands flashbacks.
Amber: Lady friend, I gotta go back to work now.

light table for proper exposure times and how to build a textiles
print table top)

3) a repair-person for our industrial sewing machine and our serger

Long term:
1) help run our open studios which will be happening on Fridays or
Saturdays from 12-6pm (it's great if you have experience in black and
white photography, silk-screening or sewing…if not it's not a problem,
we will familiarize everyone with the equipment)

DUTIES WOULD INCLUDE:

- participating in a volunteer orientation to familiarize yourself
with Ste-Emilie's mandate and history and to familiarize yourself with
the equipment
- helping people use the sewing machines, serger, silk-screening
equipment, craft equipment
- collecting donations from people who come in to make things
- helping with clean-up and ensuring that people clean up equipment
that is used and leave the space clean
- washing out and coating silk-screens for people to use
- lending out materials that are part of the zine library and helping
ensure that materials are returned to us
- collecting money for the sale of materials that are part of the zine distro

2) people with experience in providing childcare who would like lead
arts and crafts activities for kids during open studios

an introduction

hello friends, it's Neetzie here or aka giddy. Just thought i'd say hi. I 've been working on Lickety Split since it's birth back (whenever that was) as a contributor, photographer and general slave. Amber really is the master and when she says 'get naked', well then i get naked, and as you could imagine, erotica is born. I remember when the idea for LS first came about. Amber and I were working for a christian organization and we would talk about smut and art (and who we were cruise-ing) all day long, so eventually these ideas (mostly amber's), became the zine. I remember that we would sneak photocopies of our erotic art work in between organizing a food bank and doing interpretive dances to hymns for money. We felt really dirty. Then an article in the Link came out about LS with amber's name all over it and some photos of me topless and the cat was out of the bag. For some reason, our boss the priest, didn't fire us. Thank god for open minded feminists. I do imagine though that she said a prayer or two. In fact, i think fans should take a moment to thank Jesus for his influence of this fine zine.
But really, one day Amber came to the office and said to me, "Anita, I can make you famous.", and I said "How?", and she said, "Get naked." So i did and we're both still waiting for fortune.

This edition is going to be really exciting. We have a few projects that we need participation for so keep your ear to the ground and we'll get back to you for details. One hint though, it involves you being able to realize your fantasies about wearing panties and a mustache all at the same time!

My name is Amber and I'm the founder/wrangler/curator/editor of this foine schmut zine and I'm damn loud and proud about it!

We are entering a new era of sexiness, based in community, unity and plurality. Lickety Split is expanding: we have a new PR team, a new print run (1000 copies this October!), fresh new ideas from seasoned and apprentice Lickety smutsters as well as a load of upcoming events which we will be sneak pre-viewing here veryvery soon! A note about the origins of Lickety Split smut zine:
"The first issue was printed in January 2004 but we were talkin' shit and frontin' about LS long before that! Since then it's been an annual journal, usually 80 pages in length, B/W, 5.5 by 7.5 inches with silkscreened covers designed by the arteest Sherwin Tjia. Lickety Split's name was thought up by the filthy brains belonging to the world's sexiest rock duo Holy Moly; check out their interview in issue #1. The cinematic shape of the zine was suggested by local filmmaker Mike Rollo. In all reality, Amber Goodwyn is only responsible for asking people for stuff and bossing people around."

STARTING SLOW

See left: That’s me, aka Sean P., the guy you may not know as the wizard-at-odds behind the Lickety Split site.

Even if I’m not yet an object of idolatry or ire in your universe of one, I’ll get my fifteen minutes because from now on, we’ll be seeing each other regularly. Well, really, you’ll be reading my words only occasionally. And I don’t really expect a heavy commitment but some fan/hatemail every now and again would be nice. You know, just to be sure that I’m stirring the shit—good, bad and whatever.

Some background: I’m a twenty-three year old male without a sense of humor. I hate taking walks and having picnics. Generally, I’m no fun to be around. On the other hand, the things I’m into include explicit art with a political bent, long conversations laced with criticism and getting intimate to the ear-destroying strains of Lou Reed’s Metal Machine Music played at full volume.

If any of the above seems off-putting, you needn’t worry. I’m reinventing myself just for you! (To be honest, I’ll never change. I’m leading you on. It’s a thing I do. Sorry.) So look forward to breathlessly optimistic, heartburstingly beautiful bloggage of wide-eyed wonderment on a whole range of super-smart smutty stuff.

New Comedy about Porn and Feminism!

Sarah Schenck, a feminist filmmaker from Brooklyn, has just released her first feature film, Slippery Slope. It's a comedy about feminist who gets a job directing porn flicks in order to fund her own antiporn documentary. Concept!

When I first read the blurb, I was skeptical of the direction this film seemed to be headed in. It sounded... overly simplistic. However, the ladies over at Feministing did a very interesting and in-depth interview with the director, and now I'm really keen on seeing this when it comes my way! You gotta love a film that injects a little humor into the porn industry.

New Kid on the Block!

Hey there, Lickety Split community!

I'm the new Associate Curator of this fine zine, so why don't I introduce myself?

My name's Kathleen and I'm originally from the chilly plains of Lennoxville. I'm just finishing a degree in Women's Studies at Concordia, with a double minor in Sexuality Studies and Fine Arts.

I have a few jobs, but the main one is editing and co-writing a 300-page behemoth of a sex ed training manual for 14/15 year-old peer educators. Arts-wise, a lot of my work is sexually explicit. In 2005 I made a male pin-up calendar, and more recently I showed an audio piece on male masturbation and two video shorts about my childhood sexual hijinx at the Daughters of Joy soirée (now on tour!). Right now I'm working on an illustrated book about open relationships.

So that's enough of that! I hope to keep you randy with rants, reviews and other rare specimens.

About the Readers:

Nuzhat Abbas is a writer based in Toronto, Canada .
She was born in Zanzibar , educated in Karachi and
immigrated to Canada in 1981. On receiving Canadian
citizenship, she promptly left to work in Spain,
Turkey , and the UK , and later studied for several
years in the US. She returned to Toronto in 1999 and
since then, she has published literary non-fiction,
reviews and poetry in Fuse ,THIS magazine, CV2,
Herizons ,the Globe and Mail as well as Znak (in
Poland). At present she is working on a novel as well
as a book of essays about Zanzibar . She has taught
literature at Ryerson, OCAD and George Brown College
and currently works as an educator and consultant on
anti-oppression, human rights and equity issues.


Shadi Eskandani was born in Tehran, Iran , in 1978, a
few months before the Islamic Revolution. She spent
her formative years in Tehran until her family's
emigration to Canada in 1987. Shadi has completed a
Masters degree in social anthropology, and is pursuing
a degree in education. She works for an education
support program for youth in a marginalized community
in Toronto , and spends the rest of her time writing.
Shadi is currently working on publishing a collection
of her poetry.

Mangos with Chili: the floating cabaret of QTPOC bliss, dreams, sweat,
sweets and nightmares, is coming to Montreal. On Thursday, April 5th the
multi-cultural, multi-gendered and multi-genre traveling cabaret of queer and
trans of colour (QTPOC) performance artists will be making a stop here
during their Northeast tour, where they will be joined by local QTPOC
performers and DJs. Be sure to also check out the QPOC Fleshtival on Friday April 6th
(more details below).

Using theater, spoken word, drag, dance and performance art to tell
stories of class, survival, sex, dreams, magic, colour, and trans,
femme and genderqueer identities that span Sri Lanka to Aztlan to
Morocco to the Philippines to the Caribbean to Brooklyn to migrant
small town Washington state, Mangos With Chili is a groundbreaking
performance cabaret, taking This Bridge Called My Back into the 21st
century. Inspired by similar traveling roadshows such as the Tranny
Roadshow and the Sex Workers Art Show, in 2006 sister femme vixen
writers and performance artists Maria Cristina Rangel and Leah Lakshmi
Piepzna-Samarasinha decided to start a similar tour featuring the most
brilliant queer and trans artists of colour they knew. Using their
experience creating events in Toronto, Boston, New York and the West
Coast, the first Mangos With Chili tour hit the Northeast in April
2006.

This year's Mangos with Chili will be another two weeks of
history-making performance, in celebration of their lives, stories,
survival, and the legacies they are creating for future generations of
queer and trans people of colour. The spring lineup consists of Thomas
Andre Bardwell, Kay Barrett, Ching-In Chen, Dulani, Leah Lakshmi
Piepzna-Samarasinha, Maria Cristina Rangel (aka Miss Cherry Galette),
Suhayl Ramirez, Ignacio Rivera, and Victor Tobar. The show contains
both collaborative and individual work, bringing a wide spectrum of
breathtaking queer and trans artists of color to universities,
community colleges and community art spaces.

Mangos with Chili is being co-presented by Queer McGill, the 2110
Centre for Gender Advocacy, Q-team, the South-West MTL Community Skill
Share, CKUT Radio 90.3 and the Union for Gender Empowerment.

About Participants:

Vaginal Davis is an originator of the homo-core punk movement and a
gender-queer art icon. Set apart from gallery-centered art, and
Hollywood movies, and from those systems' necessities of high-polish,
low-substance production, Ms. Davis's performance,
experimental film and video practice has critiqued exclusionary
conceits from the outside. Davis has been a prolific producer of club
performance, video and Xerox-produced Zines, and other forms of
low-cost, high-impact work. Ms Davis derails collector-friendly
raciness in spectacles of femininity, queerness and blackness. She
critiques both the gallery system and the larger cultural trend that
it mirrors, with tongue-in-cheek self-exploitation and provocations of
racial and gender confusion.

José Esteban Muñoz is an American theorist in the fields of
Performance Studies, visual culture, queer theory, cultural studies,
and critical theory. His book Disidentifications: Queers of Color and
the Performance of Politics (1999) is a foundational text in queer of
color critique, and a major contribution to minority scholarship in
the field of Performance Studies. He has also co-edited Pop Out: Queer
Warhol (1996) with Jennifer Doyle and Jonathan Flatley and Everynight
Life: Culture and Dance in Latin/o America (1997) with
Celeste Fraser Delgado. Muñoz is currently the chair of the Department
of Performance Studies at New York University's Tisch School of the
Arts. He is currently completing two manuscripts, the first Feeling
Brown: Ethnicity, Affect, and Performance is forthcoming from Duke
University Press, and the second Cruising Utopia: the Performance and
Politics of Queer Futurity will be published by NYU Press.

This is a co-presentation of QPIRG McGill, Queer McGill and the Q-team
in collaboration with QPIRG Concordia, McGill Office of the Dean of
Arts, the Simone de Beauvoir Institute, articule Special Projects, La
Centrale Powerhouse Gallery, The Union

KIDS ON TV kicked off of MySpace...BOO!

On March 1, 2007 Kids on TV had their myspace account deleted with no warning or specific explanation by myspace. We suspect that, although we kept our site visually "PG-13" and played by the rules, the discussion of sexuality in our lyrics and the open embrace or radical culture was too much for myspace. We definitely ran into their limits whatever they were. They never responded to our questions either which is the experience everyone has apparently.

Myspace specifies that there be no nudity or "sexually suggestive photos". Altho nudity is pretty specific, the phrase "sexually suggestive photos" is vague enough to mean anything to anyone on the myspace staff. We demand that this phrase be removed or replaced.

We have set up a myspace profile where we encourage people to post their stories of myspace censorship as comments - especially stories where the artist suspects a political bias to the censorship. We recognize that all censorship is political. However we have a theory that recently (and in the past) myspace has been deleting accounts simply because they represent radical views, and express those views in images, video and music. This censorship will undoubtly continue and may result in the deletion of the page we created for censorship discussion. In the mean time we need to document and discuss these cases when they result from the homophobia, sexism, racism etc of myspace staff and policies. We have not found a corresponding page on myspace and the forums on censorship that we found seem pretty inactive. Others may exist that we haven't found.

Once we created the page we were surprised that everyone who responded to it with a story of censorship was a gay artist. Admittedly we are (or rather were) in touch with many gay artists via our myspace account. But this doesn't explain the repeating pattern.

Someone mailed us asking why is censorship a problem if we are all constantly spammed by commercial porn profiles - and when they appear in banner ads. The emerging cases documented on the censorship page seem to be mostly gay/sex-lib arts groups - not commercial ones. The groups that are targeted for censorship seem to be mostly non-profit, activist groups. We believe that the reason that there are so many commercial porn profiles whose accounts are not deleted is because they are paid advertisers of myspace. It seems that the way the myspace software is set up, myspace can filter and direct adult content based on the age of the profile owner receiving the content, but only for advertisements - not profiles. myspace has no designation of adult content. thus the same week Kids on TV's account was deleted we had banner ads every day advertising porn / adult dating services with "sexually suggestive photos" every time we logged into our account. which is fine by us. we just want the same courtesy

Lickety Split #4 is out in the city and was birthed at the arty/messy/rockin' launch at Club Lambi. Sexy Reading and Writing Workshop

Originally titled "Write-Your-Own Erotica Workshop", this newly named beast premiered as a V-Day McGill fundraising activity in February 2007! All proceeds from this workshop support Lickety Split zine.

Purpose: The Sexy Reading and Writing Circle is a creative space where salacious thoughts get written down and spoken out into the world! The circle embraces diversity and creates a safe space to articulate and share erotic ideas and kinky feelings through a series of games, exercises and readings.

Practice: The circle initiates self-expression and awareness by involving the group in dialogue forming exercises. The participants express themselves via guided writing exercises that help expand each individual’s sex vocabulary and to take turns listening. Everyone is encouraged to create their idea of sexy writing, explore the origin of that idea and to expand those ideas into inspired, meaningfully hot passages. The discussion of desire and sensual experiences is encouraged to tap into creative reserves. First encounters with erotica/porn/smut will also be discussed along with internalized clichés and narrative modes.

Threads is a showing of new multimedia work by Amber Goodwyn and Anita Schoepp, two friends, co-workers and collaborators. Concerned with the excavation of buried parts of the individual's identity, both artists pose searching questions and offer playful ruminations with their art practices.

Amber Goodwyn's work begins with her family photographs and history and ends with work that is a reflection of interior life, personal mythology and self-fictionalization. Focusing on images of her mother, Amber has created a series of mixed-media portraits and landscapes that reinterpret her memory of growing up in the Bahamas.

It Started with a Simple Question is an immersive video installation by Anita Schoepp wherein twenty-one different people performed their answer to the question 'how would you personify your sexuality?' The installation serves to examine how we approach sexuality, whether we use to seek out sex or if it has a broader emotive influence on how we interact with ourselves, others and shared spaces.

Calling all artists, fallen women, playboys, rakes, trollops and strumpets! Arm yourselves with a camera and submit your lascivious, libidinous and salacious motion picture creations to Lickety Split smut zine's first ever Daughters of Joy! Film and Video Festival.

Lickety Split smut zine, Montreal's own pansexual and sex-positive smut zine, is interested in promoting film and video that chooses to be forthright and frank in their explorations of gender and sexuality. We believe it is important to showcase
artwork by different and brave artists in order to offer radical suggestions regarding the nature of difference and desire. Daughters of Joy! Film and Video Festival will be inaugurated at the launch of Lickety Split #4 in Montreal (Quebec), February 2007

We encourage everyone to explore their own unique perspective on the intersection of sexuality / gender / eroticism. Members of traditionally disadvantaged groups are encouraged to submit. We encourage submissions from transgender people. This festival is free-to-submit and non-competitive.

Submission Guidelines:
- Submissions must be DVD or VHS format.
- Accepted screening formats include 16mm, Super 8 and miniDV
- Max length 15 minutes
- Tell us about your film and yourself and anything else you think we'd like to know about
- Include your name and contact information
- Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you want submissions returned
- Submission deadline: January 15th, 2007.

We won!

We got best video for Thuderheist at the Indyish Holla-Day Weekend event. We barely edged out in front of our sole competitor, Safe Solvent and team who also made a booty-shaking vid.

In other sweet news, we’ve managed to snag Maxime Giroux from NuFilms to come help judge the final videos. NuFilms is by far the largest music video production house working in Montreal. They are home to some of the best directors working in Canada right now and Maxime is pretty much at the top of their roster. This guy has done over 100 professional videos for bands like The Tragically Hip, Sam Roberts, Les Vulgaires Machins, Dumas and the list goes on. He has agreed to come out to the final showing of the winning MVMC videos on December 20th to judge and critique them. This is an amazing opportunity for anyone out there who wants to seriously improve on their filmmaking skills. This whole event is going to be like a mini film school except it’ll be a lot of fun and actually worth every penny!

What: Screening for all music videos and special guest judge.
When: Wed Dec 20 2006, 8pm.
Where: 3674 St.Laurent, Montreal. Qc. Detention Studio - Just North of Prince Arthur.

So last night I participated in Indyish.com's 24hr Music Video Making Contest- I've never done one of these type of things and now no amount of eyedrops can take away my red-eyes- I look very stoned though I am just sleepy.

All the same, last night we celebrated Anita's birthday by shooting a video for Thunderheist with our sluttiest friends and Lickety Split contributers! Come to the show tonight and cross you fingers with us in hopes that we were selected by Thunderheist as their fave music video.
